The story behind this instantly infamous shot is that Mike Golic, who went to Notre Dame, lost a bet to his radio co-host Mike Greenberg, a Northwestern grad, over who would win last weekend's game between the Irish and the Wildcats. (Northwestern won, 43-40.) So Golic had to do ... this.
