Red Sox Beat Dodgers 3-2 as Rafaela Homers Twice [VIDEO]

Ceddanne Rafaela homered twice and the Boston Red Sox beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2 on Saturday, August 1st in Los Angeles. The Red Sox are now 22-4 since July 1st.

Rafaela hit a pair of single home runs, in the 1st inning and then again in the 3rd inning, and has now hit 14 home runs on the season.

Connor Wong drove in Andruw Monasterio in the 8th inning for the game-winning run. Monasterio had hit a ground-rule double and Wong drove him in when he hit into a double play.

Payton Tolle started on the mound and pitched 6.0 innings allowing 9 hits and 2 runs. He struck out 7 and walked 2. Aroldis Chapman earned his 27th save, pitching the 9th inning.

The Red Sox kept Willson Contreras out of the game, after being hit in the helmet on Friday night.
