MDI’s Spencer Laurendeau Makes TD Catch in Shrine Football Game

Playing in his last career high school football game, MDI's Spencer Laurendeau hauled in a pass for a touchdown, in the 34th Annual Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Football Game.

Laurendeau, playing for the East, caught a pass with 54 seconds left in t he 1st half from Wyatt Rayfield of Foxcroft Academy in the end zone on a jump ball wrestling it from the defender..

The West won the game, 49-18 in front of a standing-room only crowd at Lewiston High School.

Laurendeau, who helped lead MDI to their 1st ever gold ball, winning the 8-Man Large School Championship in November will attend Nichols College in the fall and play football.
