Don't count the Boston Red Sox out yet! On Monday night, they beat the Baltimore Orioles 12-3 as Rob Resnyder and Tyler O'Neill hit back-to-back homers not once but twice in the game!

The 1st time they went deep was in the 3rd inning, and then they did it again in the 8th inning. It was just the 2nd time in Red Sox franchise history a pair of teammates have recorded back-to-back homers twice in the same game. The only other time was when Mo Vaughn and Tim Naehring did it on April 19th, 1994 when they homered in the 2nd and 6th innings.

Refsnyder ended the night with a career-high 5 RBIs in a game, going 4-4 with a double and 2 home runs, his 10th and 11th of the season.

Tyler O'Neill was 3-5 with a double and 2 homers, driving in 3 runs. The homers were his 28th and 29th of the season.

Cedanne Rafaela was 2-4 with a double and drove in 4 runs. He had a 2-run single in the 6th inning and 2-run double in the 7th inning.

Brayan Bello pitched 5.1 innings allowing 3 hits and 2 runs to pick up the win and is 13-7 on the season. He loaded the bases in the 1st and 4th innings but only allowed 2 runs. He struck out and walked 5 in the game.

Boston is now 3 games back out of the final wild card spot with 18 games to play.

Boston and Baltimore will play Tuesday night, with the pregame starting at 6:10 and 1st pitch at 7:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.
