Red Sox Announce 2027 Schedule

The Boston Red Sox released their 2027 schedule. The schedule will see them opening the season on Thursday, March 25th in Seattle, with the home opener on Thursday, April 1st against the Cincinnati Reds.

The Red Sox will close-out the 2027 season with a 6-game homestand, with 3 games against Tampa Bay and 3 games with the Kansas City Royals.

The annual Patriot's Day game on April 19th at 11 a.m. will feature the Red Sox playing the Cleveland Guardians.

Boston will play at home on Sunday, July 4th against the Baltimore Orioles. It's the 1st time Boston's been home for the 4th of July since 2023 and only the 4th time since 2016.

The Red Sox will host the Yankees 7 times, with a 4-game series June 4-7 and 3 games August 6-8. The Red Sox will play the Yankees 6 times, with 3 games June 11-13 and 3 games September 17-19.

Boston will host 8 National League Clubs including the Cincinnati Red April 1-4, St. Louis Cardinals April 30-May 2, Los Angeles Dodgers May 14-16, Miami Marlins June 8-10, Colorado Rockies June 25-27, Atlanta Braves July 16-18, New York Mets July 19-21 and Pittsburgh Pirates August 20-22.

Game times are still to be finalized.

The 2027 season is contingent upon the owners and players reaching a labor agreement, which right now doesn't look promising.
