Maine Maritime Academy Lacrosse Coach’s Shows [VIDEO]

WDEA's Chris Popper sat down and spoke via telephone with Maine Maritime Academy Lacrosse Coaches Adam Sherman and Sarah Gombar. Both the Men's and Women's teams are in action this weekend, against Castleton on Saturday, and then against Johnson State on Sunday.

The Men's Lacrosse Team will be honoring their six seniors on Saturday at 3:30 before their game against Castleton. Those honored include Nick Betti, Evan Carrier, Bronson Guimond, Jack Tragert, Ian Larcom and A.J. Larabee. Coach Sherman spoke about each senior and talked about the game against Husson that MMA won, and talked briefly about the game against Castleton.

The Women's Lacrosse team will be honoring their four seniors on Saturday at 1 PM. That game is also their "One Love" game. Hear what the "One Love" game is all about, along with Coach Gombar talking about her seniors, Lillian Slazas, Taylor O'Malley, Ally Fuehrer and Abby Yeo. Coach Gombar feels that MMA needs to win 2 out of their final 4 games to make the playoffs.
