The Trenton Acadians are still alive in the Maine American Legion Senior State Tournament after beating Oxford Hills 7-1 on Monday night, after falling to the GSM Senior Riders 5-3 on Monday afternoon.

In the 7-1 win over Oxford Hills Logan Crowley pitched 6.2 innings allowing just 1 run and 6 hits. He struck out 3 and walked 6. Ryan Winchester closed out the game, retiring the final out.

Jackson Barry and Luke Horne each had 2 hits with a double. Barry drove in 3 runs. Logan Crowley, Evan Haskell, Dawson Curtis, Hollis Grindal and Ryan Winchester each had a single.

In the 1st game of the day, The Acadians lost to the GSM Senior Riders 5-3.

Trailing 5-0 in the bottom of the 7th inning, the Acadians scored 3 runs, but weren't able to come closer.

Trent Goss took the loss for Trenton. He pitched 6.0 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 runs, although just 1 run was earned. He struck out and walked 4. Deegan Scott pitched the 7th inning, allowing 1 run on 3 hits.

Ryan Winchester was 3-3 for the Acadians with a double. Dawson Curtis had a triple and drove in all of the Acadians' runs. Logan Crowley, Evan Haskell, and Trent Goss each singled.

The Acadians will play the loser of the 5 p.m.  game between the Dunkin Comrades and GSM Riders on Tuesday night, July 28th at 7:30 p.m. at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.
