Anthony Seigler went 4-5 with a lead-off homer and 2 doubles. He drove in 2 runs. The homer was his 3rd of the season and his 1st career lead-off homer.

Romy Gonzalez hit a pinch-hit RBI double in the 8th inning, driving in the game-winning run.

Ceddanne Rafaela was 2-5. He hit a 2-run homer in the 8th inning, his 10th of the season.

Jarren Duran was 2-4

Patrick Sandoval started for the Red Sox and went 4.2 innings, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks, striking out 3.

Garrett Whitlock picked up the win and is 6-1. Aroldis Chapman earned his 24th save, pitching the 9th and striking out 2.The save was his 391st career save moving him into 9th place all-time, surpassing Dennis Eckersley.

The Re Sox are now 53-39 and in 3rd place in the AL East but own the 2nd Wild Card Playoff Spot, a half-game ahead of the Cleveland Guardians.
