The Boston Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1 on Sunday and improved to 17-3 to begin July. They improved to a Major League-best 25-7 over their last 32 games since June 19.

Jarren Duran was 3-4 with a 2-run single in the 4th inning. He ended the day with 3 singles and 2 runs batted in and a stolen base.

Jahmai Jones hit a pinch-hit 2-run double in the 7th inning and then proceeded to steal 3rd base.

Andruw Monasterio extended his hitting streak to 8 games with a single in the 3rd inning.

Wilyer Abreu snapped a 0-20 hitless streak with a double driving in a run in the 7 inning.

Ranger Suarez came off the injured list and pitched 4.0 innings. He struck out 6 and allowed 4 hits.

Boston has now won 6 consecutive series for the 1st time since June 3-26 in 2022 when they won 7 straight series. The Red Sox are now 18-19 against AL East opponents, including 12-2 in their last 14 games against the division.

Boston now heads out on a 7 game West Coast road trip with 4 games in Sacramento against the A's and then 3 games against the Dodger.

Boston will take on the A's on Monday night, July 27th with the pregame starting at 8:40 on WDEA AM 1370.
