Mahon Graduates From BLETP May 18 [PHOTOS]

A contingent of Ellsworth's finest traveled down to the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro on Friday, May 18th to congratulate and watch their newest police officer, Steven Mahon, graduate from the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program. (BLETP)

Mahon, an Ellsworth High School graduate and Husson University graduate, was sworn in as an Ellsworth Police Officer on January 9th. The BLETP is an intensive 18 week, 720 hour residential program to prepare Law Enforcement Officers for duty for the State of Maine.
