If you're new to the City of Ellsworth, or even a resident of "some" years, you'll enjoy the annual Ellsworth Open House, which will be held virtually on Thursday, March 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.

Registration is required, as the open house is being held via Zoom. To register, please go to the Ellsworth Library's website

The event will feature a welcome message from Ellsworth’s City Manager, Glenn Moshier, as well as a variety of breakout rooms designed to encourage networking.  New residents are encouraged to attend to meet new people and to learn about local organizations and opportunities in the Ellsworth community.

Several community organizations will be joining the breakout rooms, including Ellsworth Adult Ed, Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County, Frenchman Bay Conservancy, Woodlawn Museum Gardens & Park, The Grand Theater, Green Ellsworth, Healthy Acadia, The Ellsworth American, Heart of Ellsworth, and Girl Scouts of Maine.

The annual Ellsworth Open House is sponsored by the Ellsworth Public Library, the City of Ellsworth, and the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce
