Friends In Action Lunch Menu For September At Moore Community Center

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for September 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's cool and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

Tuesday, September 1 - Baked Chicken and Biscuit Casserole, Seasoned Rice, Steamed Peas, Diced Pears and Dessert
Thursday, September 3 - Beef and Vegetable Pasta Bake, Garlic Bread, Roasted Carrots, Mixed Fruit and Dessert
Tuesday, September 8 - Turkey Salisbury Steak, Au Gratin Potatoes, Green Beans, Peaches and Dessert
Thursday, September 10 - Chicken and Broccoli Rice Bake, Dinner Roll, Glazed Carrots, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
Tuesday, September 15 - Port Roast with Onion Gravy, Roasted Potatoes, Steamed Cabbage, Applesauce and Dessert
Thursday, September 17 - Tuna Noodle Casserole, Buttered Corn, Garden Salad, Pears and Dessert
Tuesday, September 22 - Beef and Mushroom Tips over Egg Noodles, Steamed Peas, Dinner Roll, Pineapple and Dessert
