Overnight Lane Restricions in Ellsworth August 24-26

Motorists traveling overnight in parts of Ellsworth August 24-26 will encounter lane restrictions as road crews repair the Surry Road/Bridge Hill Area and High Street.

Motorists should expect delays and use extra caution when traveling through the work zone. Please follow the directions of crews directing traffic and be patient!

Monday, August 24th - Surry Road Bridge Hill Area

Beginning at 10 p.m. on Monday August 24th traffic on the Surry Road near it's intersection with the Bucksport Road will be reduced to alternating one-way traffic as work gets underway in connection with the Bridge Hill repair.

Tuesday and Wednesday, August 25-26: High Street

Beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday, August 25th and again on at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26th, traffic on High Street near Pizza Hut will be reduced to one lane for northbound traffic heading toward Bar Harbor, while crews work on the section of the roadway impacted by the recent sinkhole.
