Portion of High Street in Ellsworth Closed Because of Sinkhole

Motorists traveling on High Street in Ellsworth need to be aware that part of the road outbound has been closed because of a sink hole.

The closure is located between Pizza Hut and the first entrance to the Hannaford plaza, near the new Camden National Bank location.

High Street remains open to traffic, but motorists traveling through the area should use caution, watch for the lane closure and crews, and allow a little extra time.

City Highway crews will be working to repair the affected area  beginning on Tuesday, August 18th.
