Ellsworth Public Library Goes to the Dogs in July
The Ellsworth Public Library is going to the dogs during the month of July! There is a "just for fun" pet show on July 21st and they are collecting pet food in lieu of overdue fines!
Rather than collecting money for overdue books, they are encouraging you to bring in a pet item that will be donated to the SPCA of Hancock County. Some ideas include
- Canned dog and cat (pate style) food.
- Dog and Cat toys
- Any cat treats
- Beggin' strips and large milk bones
- Paper towels, bleach and fragrance free laundry soap.
Remember your donations are "paw-some"!
On July 21st the Ellsworth Public Library is holding their annual "just for fun" Pet Show on Saturday, July 21st starting at 10AM.
The Pet Show is for all ages and pets, there is no fee to enter and all pets should be leashed or brought in a secure cage. Children under 14 who enter their pet must be accompanied by an adult. All pet show entries will receive a certificate and prize! Costumes are encouraged. To enter call 667-6363 or email Miss Keli at email@example.com. Nicole Mastroserio of TZ Pawtraits will be there.
There will be fun and prizes for every pet. Pet owners and spectators will be treated to lemonade and animal crackers thanks to the Friends of the Library. The Pet Show is sponsored by the Friends of the Ellsworth Library and Maine Pet and Aquarium
