Ellsworth Library's Summer Reading Program Kicks Off Saturday June 27th

Ellsworth Public Library's Summer Reading Program kicks off on Saturday, June 27 with a special event from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon.

This year's theme is "Plant a Seed, Read"

The kick-off event will celebrate the power of stories that help us grow. You can spend a magical morning on the 27th with lawn games, an outdoor scavenger hunt, and creating your own plant buddy to grow with you this summer on your reading journey!

All kids who complete the Reading Challenge will earn a FREE ice cream from Morton's Moo!

The summer reading program isn't limited to just kids! Adults and teens who register for the summer reading program simply fill out an raffle ticket with each library visit this summer and will enter for the drawing prize of their choices. There are dinner and theater tickets, LEGO sets, or 2 Fogtoberfest Tickets available.

During the summer the Ellsworth Public Library will be open Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9-5, Wednesday and Thursday 9-6 and Saturday 9-2.

The Ellsworth Public Library will have special Family-Friendly performances at 6 p.m. and Special Events for Adults on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. beginning in July.
