The Ellsworth Fire Department is developing a strategic plan to better serve the community and invites the Ellsworth residents to be part of the process. This initiative will shape the department’s future goals and priorities while ensuring services align with the needs and expectations of Ellsworth residents.
The Meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 8th at 6 p.m. in the Ellsworth City Hall Chambers.
At an upcoming Town Hall style presentation, the department will explain the purpose of the strategic plan and its potential impact on fire prevention, emergency response, and public safety. Community feedback is a vital component of this process. By sharing thoughts, concerns, and ideas, the community can help the department:
  • Enhance public understanding of its roles and responsibilities.
  • Tailor services and programs to meet specific community needs.
  • Foster trust, collaboration, and stronger community relationships.
Gathered input will directly influence the department’s ability to identify key themes, concerns, and high-priority areas. This collaborative approach ensures that the strategic plan reflects the unique needs of the Ellsworth community.
Community members, including those who attend or cannot attend, are encouraged to complete the Fire Department’s Citizen Survey for Strategic Fire Plan Development. The survey is available here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/EFDsurvey
