Complete Game From Wyl Renwick Leads Acadians To 10-5 Win Over Post 8

The Trenton Acadians beat Post 8 Downeast Captains 10-5 on Thursday Night, June 25th in Senior American Legion baseball.

Wyl Renwick pitched a complete game for the Acadians. Renwick allowed 8 hits and 5 runs, 4 earned, striking out 5 and walking 1.

Jaydin Mahar started for Post 8. He pitched 5.0 innings allowing 10 hits and 8 runs, striking out 6 and walking 2. Giovanni Favuzzi pitched the final inning, allowing a hit and 2 runs, 1 of which was earned. He struck out 1 and walked 3.

Logan Crowley was 2-2 leading off for the Acadians. Joey Beal was 2-3 with a pair of runs batted in. Luke Horne was 2-3. Deegan Scott had a double and drove in 2 runs. The Acadians swiped 8 bases. Crowley led the way with 3 steals, and Sekulich, Dawson Curtis, Beal, Horne and Renwick each had a stolen base.

Brody Robertson was 3-4, with 3 doubles, driving in 2 runs to lead Post 8. Jaydin Mahar had a double and knocked in 2 runs. William Ferguson had a double and drove in a run. Colby Moholland, George Welch and Braydin Kennedy each singled.

The Post 8 Downeast Captains are 2-2. They will host Lincoln Lumber in a doubleheader on Sunday, June 28th with games at Noon and 2:30 p.m.

Trenton is 3-1. They play on the road against the CM Hurricanes , Friday, June 26th at 7:30 p.m. This will be their 4th game this week.
