Now it starts! The first of how many trades have begun, as the Red Sox traded outfielder Shane Victorino to the Los Angeles Angels for infielder Josh Rutledge. The Red Sox recalled Rusney Castillo from Pawtucket to take Victorino's spot on the roster.

Victorino, who was signed by the Red Sox to a three-year, $39 million contract in December of 2012. His contract was set to expire at the end of the year. It's reported that the Red Sox are paying $3.8 million of Victorino's remaining contract of $4.9 million.

Rusney Castillo is starting in right field for the Red Sox Monday night as they play the Chicago White Sox.
