Red Sox Fall to Diamondbacks 7-6 in 10 Innings Despite Hitting 3 Home Runs [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox hit 3 homers but fell to the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-6 in 10 innings on Wednesday, August 19th.

Mickey Gaspar hit a 3-run game-tying homer in the 6th inning to tie the score at 5-5. The homer was his 3rd of the season, all coming in back-to-back-to-back games Monday-Wednesday.

Nick Sogard hit a a leadoff homer int he 1st inning, for his 1st career home run. He finished the daay 2-4.

Jarren Duran hit a solo home run in the 3rd inning, his 17th of the season.

Wilson Contreras was 2-5

Payton Tolle started on the mound. He pitched 4.0 scoreless innings before allowing 3 runs on 3 hits and a walk in the 5th inning.

Jovani Moran took the loss and is 2-3.
