Red Sox Lose 8-2

The Boston Red Sox lost to the Minnesota Twins on Thursday afternoon, March 10th, 8-2 as ace David Price pitched his first Spring Training game, allowing back to back homers in the 2nd inning.

Price ended up pitching 3 innings allowing the 2 runs on 4 hits. He walked 1 and struck out 3. Heath Embree came on in relief and got rocked, allowing 5 runs, all earned on 4 hits, 1 of them a homer in 1 inning. He struck out 1 and walked 1.

The 5-4 Boston Red Sox will play the 8-1 Toronto Blue Jays in exhibition baseball Friday afternoon at 1:07.
