Red Sox Bullpen Implodes Fall to Astros 10-2

The Boston Red Sox' bullpen imploded as they fell to the Houston Astros 10-2 on Sunday, August 11th.

James Paxton faced just 3 batters before exiting with right calf strain. He was seen in the clubhouse on crutches after the game.

The Astros scored 5 runs in the 5th inning and 4 runs in the 6th inning, with Alex Bregman hitting his 17th homer, Yordan Alvarez his 25th homer and  former UMaine Black Bear Jeremy Pena his 10th homer.

The Red Sox struck out 13 times in the game and managed only 6 hits in the game.

The Boston Red Sox open a 3 game series with the Texas Rangers on Monday August 12th, with the pregame starting at 6:10 p.m. and 1st pitch at 7:10 p.m. on AM 1370 WDEA.  Brayan Bello is scheduled to pitch for the Red Sox.
