MDI Girl’s Summer Basketball Team On Roll

The MDI Girl's Summer Basketball Team is on a roll, having won their last seven games. They went 7-0 this past weekend in a tournament in Skowhegan, and tonight, July 15th beat Bangor 75-54 and Dexter 60-45.

The MDI Girls led Bangor 36-21 before winning 75-54. MDI played the second game without Kelsey Shaw who injured her ankle. They led 32-21 over Dexter after the 20 minute half, before coming away with the 75-54 win.

The MDI Girl's Summer Basketball Team is coached by Brent Barker and is made up of the following players:

Hannah Shaw, Sarah Phelps, Sara Norberg, Molly Carroll, Sierra Tapley, Sierra Myrick, Keely McConomy, Kelsey Shaw, Julianna Cleaves, Riley Mooers, Abby Miller and Mariah Hamor.
