MDI Boys 73 John Bapst 28 [PHOTOS]

The MDI Trojans ran over the John Bapst Crusaders on Monday, January 11th in Bar Harbor, winning 73-28. Mac Shea and Kaleb Payson scored their first varsity points for the Trojans, and each ended up with 4 points.

MDI didn't allow a point in the 1st Quarter, as they jumped out to a 21-0 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter. Aaron Snurkowski had 6 points, Russell Kropff had 5 points including a 3-pointer, Gus Reeves had a 3-pointer and Drew Rich had 3 points.

MDI's defense was stellar, and they led 31-0 before John Bapst scored with 3:27 remaining in the 1st Half. MDI held Bapst scoreless for the first 12:33. In the 2nd Quarter, Snurkowski had 5 points including a 3-pointer, Devin Parlatore had a 3-pointer and Graham Good had 3 points. For John Bapst, Nate Smith had 5 points including a 3-pointer and Darren Hanscom had a 3-pointer.
