Lower Main Street Road Work in Ellsworth Beginning Tuesday August 13th

Motorists coming through downtown Ellsworth, especially from Bucksport should be aware of planned roadwork starting on Tuesday August 13th.

According to the City of Ellsworth 1 lane on lower Main Street near Grant Street, across from the Rooster Brothers Store, will be closed for road work starting the morning of Tuesday, August 13th. The work will begin approximately at 7:30 a.m. . It is expected that the roadwork will take between 1 and 3 days.

The City of Ellsworth asks the community to please plan ahead for potential delays and drive with caution through the area.
