Join Friends In Action For Lunches In Ellsworth This July Every Tuesdday and Thursday

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for July 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's cool and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

Thursday, July 2- Beef Nacho Bowl, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Corn Chips, Cinnamon Apples and Dessert
Tuesday, July 7 - Creamy Southwest Chicken Pasta, Corn and Black Bean Blend, and Dessert.
Thursday July 9 - Ground Turkey Stroganoff with Egg Noodles, Mixed Vegetables, Mandarin Oranges, Roll and Dessert
Tuesday, July 14 - Swedish Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes, Green Peas, Pineapple and Dessert
Thursday, July 16 - BBQ Chicken Thighs, Cheesy Roasted Potatoes, Glazed Carrots, Cinnamon Pears and Dessert
Tuesday, July 21 - Hearty Beef Chili, Cornbread, Garden Salad, Grapes and Dessert
Thursday, July 23 - Pulled Pork with Rice Pilaf, Green Beans, Peaches and Dessert
Tuesday, July 28 - Crispy Chicken Strips with Dipping Sauce, Garlic Herb Potatoes, Broccoli, Pineapple and Dessert
Thursday, July 30 - Baked Salisbury Steak, Buttered Noodles, California Blend Vegetables, Fruit Cocktail and Dessert
