The Hammond Lumber Riverhawks White Team beat the Trenton Acadian Junior Legion Baseball Team 6-1 on Monday, June 22nd as 3 Riverhawks' pitchers 2-hit the Acadians.

Jack Kowalski started on the mound for the Riverhawks. He went 3.0 innings holding the Acadians to just 1 hit, striking out 4 and walking just 1. Noah White followed, pitching 2.0 innings and allowing 1 hit and 1 run, striking out and walking 3. Jackson Harris closed out the game, pitched the 6th and 7th innings , holding the Acadians hitless and striking out a pair of batters.

The Riverhawks had 6 hits. They were led offensively by Gaige Farrar with a pair of hits, including a double and a run driven in. Westyn Wyatt had a pair of hits. Michael Carroll had a single and drove in a run. Joey Newell and Drake Nash each had a single.

The Riverhawks stole 4 bases. Farrar swiped a pair, with Alton Potter and Noah White each stealing a base.

Trey Keene started on the mound for the Acadians. He went 5.1 innings allowing 6 hits and 4 runs, all unearned. He struck out 3 and walked 1. Jagger Huffman pitched the final 1.2 innings allowing 2 hits and 2 runs, waking 1.

Wyatt Young had both of the hits for the Acadians

The Riverhawks are 2-0. They are set to host the Capital Area Junior Legion Team on Tuesday, June 23rd at 7 p.m.

The Trenton Acadians are 1-1. They are scheduled to play the CM Hurricanes on Wednesday, June 24th at 6:30 p.m.
