Fully Restored World War II B-17 Bomber To Visit Hancock County/Bar Harbor Airport For Tours/Rides [VIDEO]

Here's your chance to view a national treasure, inside and out! The Flying Legends of Victory Tour, made possible by the Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum, and featuring the beautiful World War II B-17 bomber Sentimental Journey, will be making a stop in Bar Harbor for TWO WEEKS at the Scenic Flights of Acadia, Monday, August 7th through Sunday, August 20th. Scenic Flights of Acadia is located at the Hancock County/Bar Harbor Airport on Route 3 in Trenton.
This beautiful historic aircraft, one of ten left in the world, has been fully restored to a tee, and is flown all over the country so that folks can check it out, inside and out! The cost for a tour is $10, or, $20 for a family of four. Tours of the plane will happen Mondays,Fridays and Saturdays, 2 pm – 5 pm, and Tuesdays through Thursdays, 9 am – 5 pm.
You can even book a RIDE ABOARD this "flying fortress" bomber! Better be prepared to whip out that credit card, with fares ranging from $450 to $850.
Circus Aircraft will have their new Vision Jet on display, Sunday the 20th.
