Friends in Action July 2023 Lunch Menus

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for July 2023!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday,  across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in an air-conditioned setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

• Tuesday July 4 - Closed for Independence Day
• Thursday July 6 - Creamy Chicken Carbonara Pasta, Broccoli, Peaches, Roll and Dessert
• Tuesday July11 - Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Rice, Carrots and Applesauce
• Thursday July 13 - Turkey Club, Chips, Pickle, Pepper Strip, Oranges and Dessert
• Tuesday July 18 - Chicken Garlic Pasta, Breadsticks, Peas, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Thursday July 20 - Fajitas, Spanish Rick, Refried Beans, Pineapple and Dessert
• Tuesday July 25 - Honey Garlic Chicken, Rice Pilaf, Carrots, Pears and Dessert
• Thursday July 28 - Baked Ham and Cheese Pinwheels, Broccoli Slaw, Fruit Kabobs and Dessert.
