After missing the early part of the season recovering from surgery, former MDI Trojan Lydia DaCorte returned to the pool with a vengeance this past weekend, winning 4 races on Friday, and 4 on Saturday, January 10th and 11th.

On Friday, the Wheaton swimmer finished 1st in the 1000 Yard Freestyle with a time of 10:51.24. DaCorte then finished 1st in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:00.06 and then followed that with a 1st in the 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 27.08. Lastly she was part of the 200 Yard Individual Medley Team that swam as an exhibition, but nevertheless finished 1st. That meet was at Mount Holyoke with Clarke

On Saturday the 11th, DaCorte finished 1st as part of the 200 Yard Medley Relay and then finished 1st in the 200 Yard Freestyle with a time of 1:58.68 and 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 55.57. Lastly, again as an exhibition she had the fastest time in the 400 Yard Individual Medley

Wheaton and DaCorte are back in the pool on Wednesday. January 15 at WPI at 5:30 p.m.
