Friends In Action Community Lunches – April 2026

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for April 2026!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday, across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together, where it's warm and in an inviting setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends! Plus, you can find out more about Friends in Action and the programs that they offer!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016.

• Thursday April 2 - Chop Suey, Mixed Green Salad, Corn, Peaches and Dessert
• Tuesday April 7 - White Chicken Pizza, Salad, Cinnamon Pears and Dessert
• Thursday April 9 - Beef Flour Quesadillas, Spanish Rice, Peas, Melon and Dessert
• Tuesday April 14 - Garlic Parmesan Bagel Chicken Sandwich, Tater Tots, Corn, Grapes and Dessert
• Thursday April 16 - Broccoli and Cheddar Soup, Dinner Roll, Carrots, Applesauce and Dessert
• Tuesday April 21 - Meatballs in Gravy, Biscuit, Potato Salad, Peaches and Dessert
• Thursday April 23 - BBQ Chicken Sandwich, French Fries, Salad, Mandarin Oranges and Dessert
• Tuesday, April 28 - Bourbon Maple Glazed Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Peas, Pineapple and Dessert.
