HCTC SkillsUSA No Kids Sleep On the Floor Campaign

Can you imagine that there are children in Hancock County that aren't sleeping in their own beds at night?

The Hancock County Technical Center's SkillsUSA Chapter is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace for a Bedding Drive and they need your help to reach their goal of 100 bedding sets.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace will be building and delivering handmade wooden beds to children ages 3-17 who lack a bed of their own. Every bed delivered comes complete with a band-new bedding set and that's where the community comes in!

The following items are needed. All items must be NEW, Twin-Sized and in their original packaging.

• Twin Bed-in-a-bag sets
• Twin-size comforters
• Twin-size sheets
• Pillows and pillowcases
• Blankets.

All items may be dropped off now through October 8th at Hancock County Technical Center on the Boggy Brook Road in Ellsworth, the Ellsworth Aread Chamber of Comerce and at the Ellsworth Elementary/Middle School.

Every single donation brings the communtiy one step clsoer to making sure that every child has a bed to call their own.
