Back In 1st Place! Red Sox Beat Twins 6-3

The Boston Red Sox are back in sole possession of 1st place in the American League East, after beating the Minnesota Twins 6-3 on Thursday, June 29th. It was their 18th come from behind victory of the season.

David Price went 7.0 innings allowing 3 earned runs on 6 hits, striking out 7. He didn't walk a batter and is now 3-2 on the season. Joe Kelly pitched a scoreless 8th inning and hasn't allowed a run in his last 22 appearances, dating back to May 1st. Craig Kimbrel picked up his 22nd save of the season, striking out 2 Twins in the 9th.

Mookie Betts hit his 13th homer of the season and Hanley Ramirez hit his 11th of the season. Both were solo shots

Betts ended up 2-4 and Jackie Bradley Jr. was 3-4. Tzu-Wei Lin had his first multi-hit game of his big league career going 2-4 with a triple.
