Boston Red Sox Win Fifth Straight, Beat Angels 5-2

The Boston Red Sox won their 5th straight game, beating the Los Angeles Angels 5-2 on Monday, September 7th as both Adley Rutschman and Jarren Duran homered.

Duran hit a solo homer and doubled in the 2nd inning. The homer was his 20th of the season

Rutschman hit a 3-run homer in the 2nd inning. It was his 12th of the season.

Eli White, playing center in place of Ceddanne Rafaela, was 2-4 with a RBI and has a 7-game hitting steak.

Caleb Durbin was 2-4 with a single and double.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa was 1-2, walking twice.

Brayan Bello started and pitched 5.0 innings. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 while striking out 7. He picked up the win and is now 6-7.

Wyatt Olds pitched the 6th and 7th innings allowing a hit and run, while striking out 5. Alex Gamboa pitched the 8th inning allowing a hit and run, striking out and walking 1. Garrett Whitlock pitched the 9th inning for his 3rd save of the season striking out 2.
