The Trenton Acadians Senior Legion Baseball Team handed the Hammond Lumber Riverdogs their 1st loss of the season, winning 5-4. Trailing 4-0 the Acadians tied the game in the bottom of the 6th inning and then walked-off the Riverdogs in the 7th inning.

Logan Crowley started on the mound for the Acadians and pitched 6.0 innings. He allowed 8 hits and 4 runs, striking out 7 and waked 3. Deegan Scott picked up the win, pitching the 7th innings, allowing a hit and walking 1.

Dawson Curtis led the Acadians at the plate. He hit a 3-run homer in the 6th inning.

Trent Goss, Luke Horne, Joey Beal and Brayden Sekulich each singled.

Goss' single in the 7th inning drove in Sekulich for the game-winner.

Bodie Bishop started on the mound for the Riverdogs. He pitched 5.1 innings allowing 3 hits and 3 runs, striking out 5 and walked 7. Iven Ingraham retired the last 2 batters in the 6th inning, allowing a hit and run. Wyatt Allen took the loss, walking  and striking out1 and allowing a hit and run in the 7th.

Bishop helped himself at the plate going 2-3 with a double and driving in a run. Ingraham was 2-2 with a double and run batted in. Wyatt Allen had a double. Rogan Lord was 2-2. Kellan Bishop had a single.

The Acadians are now 11-2. They will host the Post 8 Downeast Captains on Thursday, July 9th at 5:30 p.m.

The Riverdogs are 11-1. They host Capital Area-Barber on Thursday, July 9th at 5 p.m.
