WA Nips MDI 1-0

The MDI Trojans traveled to East Machias on Tuesday afternoon and were nipped by the Washington Academy Raiders 1-0.

Dnye-Jha Hayward scored the only goal of the game off a curling cross from Manzi Yves in the first Half for Washington Academy.

MDI's goalie Kendrew VanGorder was stellar as he faced 23 shots during the game.

Washington Academy is now 3-0 on the season and plays at Bucksport on Friday September 18th at 4 PM.

MDI now 2-2 will play host to Ellsworth on Thursday, September 17th at 6 PM in a game that will be broadcast on AM 1370 WDEA and on WDEA Internet Radio
