UMaine Beats Stonehill 85-46 in Women’s Basketball Exhibition [PHOTOS]

A year ago at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Division II Stonehill beat the UMaine Women's Basketball Team in an exhibition game. On Saturday, November 3rd UMaine made sure that didn't happen again, beating the Skyhawks 85-46. The game also featured former teammates Kelsey Shaw playing against Sierra Tapley!

UMaine jumped out to a 21-11 lead at the end of the 1st Quarter and led 40-21 at the Half. The Black Bears then outscored Stonehill 36-14 in the 3rd Quarter.

Best of luck to both this season. Maine opens the season on November 10th at home at the Cross Insurance Center against the University of Toledo at 1PM while Stonehill opens the season Friday, November 9th against Wilmington College in Delaware at 7PM
