Thunder Hole [VIDEO]

True confessions... I have lived in Maine for 30 years, and I went to Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park for the first time ever on March 29, 2016.

I bought a pass to Acadia National Park last Christmas time, when you could buy the annual pass, normally $50.00 for $25.00 and I'm vowing to make sure that I visit the park often this year!

Living in Bangor, this treasure is only a hour away, and I'm down on Mount Desert Island at a minimum at least once a week for work. I'm just going to take an extra half hour and drive around and try to appreciate the beauty.

And while I was down there I also stopped at Sand Beach, voted the 5th best beach in the National Park system. Yep, my first ever visit there too! Not a prime beach day, but beautiful nonetheless!
