The Bar Harbor/Mount Desert Police Department shared with us that 2 Island residents were targeted by phone scams in the past week. You know that this is the tip of the iceberg and more and more Mainers are being targeted. Here are the details of the scam

Operation Game Thief, working with the Maine Warden Service, is offering up to a $4,000 reward regarding two deer that were illegally shot at night on Mount Desert Island. Anyone with any information regarding these two deer is encouraged to call 1-800-ALERT-US.
