Red Sox Fall to Guardians 10-7 in 11 Innings [VIDEO]
The Boston Red Sox rallied twice to tie the game after trailing 5-1, scoring 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th to take a 6-5 lead and then tying the score at 7-7 in the 10th inning before falling to the Cleveland Guardians 10-7 in 11 innings on Tuesday night.
The Red Sox are 2-6 at Fenway this year, and are 2-2 in extra inning games.
Kenley Jansen blew the save, allowing Cleveland to tie the game in the 9th inning, allowing 3 hits and 1 run.
Enmanuel Valdez was 2-4 with a solo home run in the 4th inning. It was his 2nd homer of the season.
