On a day that the Red Sox welcomed back Rafael Devers to the starting lineup they lost Brayan Bello to the 15-day injured list with "right lat tightness". Despite that, the Red Sox shutout the Cleveland Guardians as Devers went 3-4 with a double and home run, driving in 2 runs, and Connor Wong was 4-4 with 2 home runs, driving in 3 runs.

Wong hit his 1st homer of the night in the 2nd inning.

Devers hit his 3rd homer of the season in the 5th inning.

Wong then followed with his 2nd homer of the night, and 5th of the season in the 6th inning.

Wilyer Abreu batting cleanup was 4-5 with 2 doubles, driving in a run.

Ceddanne Rafaela was 2-4 with a double.

Even Bobby Dalbec had a hit in the game!

Cooper Criswell started on the mound for Boston and went 5 innings, allowing 3 hits and striking out 3. He improved his record to 1-1.

Joely Rodriguez pitched the 6th and 7th innings, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 1.

Zach Kelly pitched the 8th and 9th innings, holding Cleveland hitless. He struck out 3 and didn't walk a batter.

Boston's pitchers didn't allow a walk all night!
