The Ellsworth Softball Team held a hit-a-thon raising funds for equipment. Each player had 100 swings at 55 miles per hour pitches from the pitching machine. WDEA's Chris Popper was even to face 10 pitches!
The Abbe Museum's newest exhibit - wolankeyutomun: Take Care of Everything opens on Thursday, March 21st. This exhibit, a collaboration with Maritime Indigenous Artists, Inc., explores the protection of waters sacred to the Wabanaki and the conservation of sea-life living in those waters.
