Southwest Harbor Public Safety to Ride in Memory of September 11, 2001
The Southwest Harbor Fire Department accompanied by the Police Department and Ambulance Service will ride throughout town on Tuesday, September 11th in memory of first responders who died in the attacks on the United States 17 years ago, September 11, 2001.
Members of the Southwest Harbor Public Safety Department will leave the station at 9:11AM. They will head from the Station to the top of Seal Cove Road, back to Main Street, to the Ridge Apartments on Village Green Way, back to Main Street in front of the Pemetic School, continuing on Main Street to Seawall Road, turning around at Seawall and returning to the center of town, turning onto the Clark Point Road, then to Herrick Road and back to the station.
It is anticipated that the trucks will first arrive in the center of town between 9:30 and 9:45
