Check out some of the photos as workers finished up on Friday.

In speaking to Colton Sanborn from John Goodwin Jr. Construction and Tim Gott from Doug Gott and Sons they told me that New England Paving would be removing the rocks and hot top and rebuilding the culvert crossing. Doug Gott and Son's would  be responsible for providing  the crushed gravel, grading and compacting. Mindy Terry from GT Outhouses told me they would be providing 2 porta-potties and servicing them throughout the project.

It is estimated that these 6 companies donated between $100,000 - $150,000 in time and materials to reopen this road.

Many local businesses provided lunch, and food and beverage for the workers during the rebuild. This effort was spearheaded by George Seavey from Acadia Towing and Aloha MDI.
