The Southwest Harbor Public Library announced Sunday night, March 15th that they will be closing through March 31st.

On their website they said

"The staff and Trustees of the Library want to express our gratitude for your support and patience as our community evaluates and responds to these unprecedented times. First and foremost, the health and safety of all Library staff members, patrons, and visitors are our top priority.
In order to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Southwest Harbor Public Library is closed to the public through Tuesday, March 31st. During this time, there will be no public services or programs, and the Library will not be accessible for any private events. No fines will be charged for any overdue items.
Please access our digital materials through our website from the Cloud Library (ebooks and audiobooks) and Digital Maine Library (databases). The Library Wi-Fi will stay on and can be accessed by selecting the "Library_password=readmore".
