Southwest Harbor Birthday Parade – May 23rd for Makayla’s 12th Birthday

Ready to make Makayla's 12th birthday special? You're invited to celebrate her birthday, Saturday, May 23rd with a drive by parade, led by the Southwest Harbor Fire Department!

The weather is supposed to be gorgeous, and the more the merrier! If you are able to join, please meet at the Southwest Harbor Fire Station at 12:45 p.m. Makayla and her family will be watching from the end of Forest Avenue.

If you haven't participated in one of these drive by parties, let me tell you they are fantastic. I always get a huge lump in my throat when I participate. It's one of those acts of kindness that will make you feel as good if not better than the birthday girl or boy!
