The Boston Red Sox beat the New York Mets 2-0 as Walker Buehler and Alex Cora were ejected in the 3rd inning.

In a crazy moment with 1 out in the 3rd inning, home plate umpire Mike Estabrook clearly missed a pitch which Buehler questioned. Estabrook then took his mask off and took steps towards the mound yelling at Buehler who came off the mound and was ejected. It was his 2nd career ejection. Alex Cora came sprinting out of the dugout and was tossed as well.

Carlos Narvaez hit a solo home run in the 5th inning, his 5th of the season to put Boston ahead 1-0.

Two batters later, Rafael Devers hit his 10th homer of the season, a solo homer to make it 2-0. Devers' home run, was the 210th of his career moving him into a tie with Rico Petrocelli for 10th most in Red Sox history! Devers has now homered in 3 out of his last 3 games.
