Nicholson 5th James 9th in State Golf Tourney

The individual State Golf Tournament was held Saturday, October 13th at Natanis Golf Club in Vassalboro.The course played at a par 72
In Class B Austin Legge from Cape Hill defended his title, shooting a 69. Connor Paine of Erskin Academy came in 2nd with a par 72. Justin Brown of Erskine Academy and Kent Johnson Jr. of Hermon were tied with a 77. MDI's Kyle Nicholson was 5th with a 78 with a quadruple bogey 9.

Peter Ryan finished with a 91.

In the Girl's Tournament Rachel Smith from Greely came in 1st, with a 78 with Leavitt's Ruby Haylock coming in 2nd with a 81. MDI's Gabbie James was 9th with a 91.
