MDI Girls Soccer Team Start Season with 2-0 Win over Old Town Coyotes

The MDI Girls Soccer Team started the 2026 season with a 2-0 win over the Old Town Coyotes on Saturday afternoon, September 5th in Bar Harbor.

Cedar Noble Brown converted a penalty kick to put the Trojans up 1-0 in the 1st Half.

In the 2nd Half, Lily Collins put the ball in the back of the net for the insurance goal.

Gwen Stager had the shutout in goal for MDI, ending the game with 5 saves.

MDI, now 1-0 will host Bucksport on Wednesday, September 9th at 4 p.m.

Old Town, now 0-1, will travel to Bucksport to play the Lady Bucks on Monday, September 7th at 6 p.m.
