MDI Boy’s Varsity Soccer Starts Season 1-0 with 7-0 Shutout Over Old Town

The MDI Boy's Varsity Soccer Team started the season 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, September 5th in Bar Harbor, shutting out the Old Town Coyotes 7-0.

Scoring for MDI were:

• Isaac Ellis - 2 goals and 2 assists
• Jack Mourino - 2 goals
• Gabriel Vacchiano - 1 goal
• Sterling St. Germain - 1 goal
• Odin Berwin - 1 assist
• Wyatt Ford - 1 assist

MDI also took advantage of a Old Town own-goal.

Thanks to Hammond Lumber we are starting the Hammond Lumber-WDEA Downeast High School Athlete of the Week, for schools in Hancock and Washington County.
